EDITOR’S NOTE
The rush of summer is finally over and nature seems to breath a new life and start to slow down and get cosy at the same time, until it enters the deep silence of winter. The road is almost empty. By taking any turn left, the road goes up, still meandering, and the view is clearing up as the forest falls to each side, turning into an idyllic countryside scenery of meadows and grazing sheep guarded by wooden fences and bushes of rosehip, sea buckthorn, cranberries and blackberries. You can leave the car on the side of the road and pick up a hiking trail, the leaves turning rusty on the ground starting to ruffle under your feet. If you are putting in some good effort and taking the steepest path up to the hilltop, it will offer you a panoramic view of the surroundings.
